Emma Morgan, 2 years, died 22 March 1861 at Clinkers Hill, Castlemaine, of tubercle of mesentery, six weeks, W. J. Preshaw coroner. Parents - no information. Informant W. J. Preshaw coroner. Registered by John Rogers, deputy registrar, 28 March 1861, Castlemaine. Buried 23 March 1861 Chewton cemetery. [re. where born and how long in the Australian Colonies] - no information.

Which really says a lot. Dr William Fisher Preshaw was the public spirited local coroner at Castlemaine from 1852 until his death in 1866.
