Name on certificate - John Melvin Morgan Cause of death - bronchopneumonia John knew his father's name was Thomas Morgan. Four living children were listed on his death certificate, and he would have known his wife was shortly to give birth to another child. Perhaps at least they had chosen the baby's names together before John died.
Selina Sutherland's funeral 10 October 1909
Angelina broke her knee attending the graveside at Melbourne General Cemetery after the funeral of well known child 'rescuer' Selina Sutherland. The connection is an interesting one in light of Angelina's time as a single mother in the late 1870s and her later interference in the lives of her grandchildren.
