Personal communication between Helen Morgan and Spurgeon's College, August 2019, regarding information about Edward Blewett's time at the College, revealing that Edward came straight from Sandhurst (Bendigo) Australia to enrol, which must have been his main reason for returning to England. He became the pastor at Westbury Leigh Chapel in 1866. From 1872 to 1885 he was 'without pastorate'. Spurgeon's kindly supplied a portrait photograph of Edward, possibly dating to the 1860s, taken by Russell & Sons, 17 Baker St, London, and the sale leaflet for the former Baptist Chapel at Westbury, which sold in 2019.
